Whispers a New Collab!

OMGosh I can't believe how long it has been since I was on here. Things in my life have been crazy I tell ya but it looks to be settling down now so I'm back finally. With that said I have to tell ya about this new collab by Mel and Dani!! Oh how I love this kit and let me show you what it looks like and what I did with it. Here is the whole bundle together, it is called Whispers and you can get it at Scrapbook-bytes and Gotta Pixel and it's on sale for only $6 till 4/2/10!!

Here is my LO I did with it at a speed scrap last night. I love the colors in this kit and I think they did another amazing job collaborating together! That is my 11 yr old Jade and her 4 yr old friend Sierra playing on the playground at Jade's school. Sierra starts there next year in kindergarten and my Jade will be moving on to middle school, wow where have the last few years gone..it seems like just yesterday Jade started pre-k at Reese Road and now she is in her last year there. Just before this photo was taken she was talking to her pre-k teacher and Jade is as tall as Mrs. Hopkins!! I'll have to get some photo's of them and do a LO with photo's from when she was in her class!

Here is my second LO with Whispers and I also used one of Mel's templates called Rainshine. These photo's are of course of us eating at Red Robin just before we went to the movies. That is my sister Lydia and her grandson Taylor, Jade and I, and Tammy and Sierra. My sister and Taylor just survived a house fire last month. They lost everything but what is more important is that they made it out and are doing ok.

Oh and while your over at SBB's check out Dani's March Madness sale going on till the end of March!! She has some awesome kits!

Mmm been a long time..

Yes I have been missing in action for a while now. I haven't done much scrappin' either. First my dad had one of his bad days and in the middle of all that I hurt my back. So that was no fun! Days of pain, then finally giving up and going to the doc. He sends me home with plenty of pain meds..woohoo..lol. I'm still on them too but trying not to take them as much as I was. Looks like I'm gonna have another doc appointment soon cause he said if it didn't get better then it was off to the back doctor. :( No fun there. Then just when I thought things were going to get back to normal and I could catch up on my CT stuff and get some blogging done family drama big time!!! Not gonna go into that hot mess! THEN, in the middle of that my dryer's heating element goes out and just as I think it is fixed (which yes it is working but my dryer wasn't put back together right so the door pops open...aarrrrggggg!!!), our freezer decides it is gonna stop working and we have been trying to salvage all the food that was in there today! I swear when it rains it pours!!!

Ok, enough about my sad life. I did get a few pages done here and there at the beginning of the month, I just never took the time to get on here and blog about them (sorry Dani and Robyn). So here is what I did with Dani's kit As the Leaves Turn. I did the template challenge and the desktop challenge.

Now here is a new designer at ESS. Starry Eyed Designs by Amy Lee. I've been on Dani's CT with her and now she is designing herself!! Woohoooo way to go Amy!! So here is one of her first kits in her new shop at ESS. I chose to work with One for the Boys first and I did this page at a SS tonight at ESS. Thanks Becca for a fun time and a awesome page! I also used one of Jazzy's WA's One Liners.

Here is some of Robyn's of Red Dog Digitals. The first one is from Rainbow Bridge. I had a hard time doing this page and ended up having several typo's (and those came because I was to tired to be scrappin and crying as I was typing, like I said I had a hard time doing this page cause I still miss my Buddy) but oh well I love how it came out anyway.

Here is my other one from her kit Spring Showers. I did a page from our first trip to Sea World back in 2004. It was my birthday and I had decided we were gonna go to the Luau. What a awesome time we had!! Great food and wonderful dinner show!! I really recommend this to anyone who is thinking of going to Sea World, check out what extra's are going on and it is worth every penny that you spend extra.

Oh, and I loved how my page came out from this so I asked Robyn if I could give it away as a QP and of course she said yes. So here it is you can snag it here. If it asks for a password it should still be blues.

Lovin' DST's one kit calls!!

Real quick I wanted to post this and tell you all about this new template kit I got the pleasure of working with today! Of course I was over at DST late last night and saw a call for these templates like I have never seen before and OMGosh I had to write Ella and of course she was sweet enough to let me have a go with these. Then I checked her blog and she has a coupon to one of her store's where you can get $2 off in her shop at My Scrap Shop! Use this when you check out ellaFileitSEPT. I grabbed another one of the templates that is a double page! Oh I can't wait to get some good fall photo's once the tree's start changing to work with these! Anyway, here is what she sent me to play with.
Here is what I did with 2 of the templates in the kit. I used a kit by a new designer and buddy of mine By Becca, check out her kits at ESS! This one is called Fading Summer.
Of course on this one I also used some of Jazzy's word art Fantasy Land.
Oh, and while I'm thinking about it let me show you one of Dani's awesome deals over in her store at ESS. She has a Sept Grab Bag that you can snag for $3 right now..5 new items in one bag!
Here are two LO's I did using some templates and kits in the bag...I just love templates, some days I want to scrap but I have no idea what or where to put something and it makes it so easy for me and I finally get some more pages done.

My first freebie!!

Well I'm back!! I haven't really been scrappin the past few weeks, all I'm gonna say is it has been crazy around my house..LOL. I do have a few pages to show you though. I answered a One Kit Call at DST, I highly recommend checking out The Happy Place and Calls, you might get lucky and get to play with a new kit before it is released, so as I was saying, I answered her OKC for this beautiful kit called Midnight Blue by Armina Designs and she let me play! First off, blue has always been my fav color so this was perfect for me!! Second..I have always loved her designs so for her to pick me to play with this gorgeous kit made me so so happy!! You can pick Midnight Blue up at Armina Designs, Gotta Pixel, and Pickel Berry Pop.

The first one I did for the Definition and Motto Challenge at ESS using Designs by Helly's beautiful word art, and for the Altered Photo Challenge at DSO. BTW, those are my beautiful daughter's eyes, I love how it came out.
Then for the second one I added some word art by my good friend Jazzy of Words to Delite. You can snag this and other awesome word arts at her store at DSO.
And here is the second one I did. My bff keeps this little girl and her mom had promised her a puppy when they got their new house..well she showed up at Tammy's house the other evening with Bella, the new pup..isn't she the cutest! It was love at first site from what I hear!
Now on to my first freebie on my blog. I asked Armina if I could give this page away and she kindly said YES!! I'm so excited! I hope you like it and I'm gonna try to make this a regular thing with a QP here and there.

Retirement sale and some other stuff.

Stopping by really quick to let ya'll know about Erin's sale...yes Erin of Scrappyweiss Designs is retiring! I'm so sad about this cause she was the very first designer to take me under her wing so she will always have a very special place in my heart!! I'm gonna miss you Erin, but I totally understand that family comes first!! I wish you the only best and will miss our little digi family! Anyway, you can grab some awesome kits from her shop at ESS while they last cause after Sept. 11, they will be around no more..she will not be giving these away on her blog, yes that's right they will be gone forever!! All kits are only $2.00 but you can get all 19 for $15.00, if you don't have them all already that is!! ;) And as you can see my fav one is the one she made for me..yep, my blog is made with her kit Nancy's Happy Day! LOVE IT!!

Ok, last bit of news then I'm off to bed..yeah it is 5:30 am and I'm soooo tired but I've been trying to do a few things on here tonight and catch up on some other stuff. I went to a speed scrap tonight at SDD, hosted by the awesome tag team of Jennmurphy and Hutchie. I got to play with a new kit by Robyn, she designs under the name Red Dog Digital Designs. You can see her kits at DDD, and as soon as they open shop at DSDI.

Here is my page with it..I love when Jennmurphy host a SS cause I always love my page but tonight after it was over I felt it needed more..so I tweaked it a bit, made the photo a little bigger, changed the position of it on the page and added a word art by Jazzy from PreSchool Days and then I was very happy! Sparkles are from Peggy's Magical Rainforest by Chaos Lounge and the stitching is from Stitich It by Kay Aagard.

Ok, thats all for now. I only ment to tell ya'll about the retirement sale. If you get the chance stop by the ESS forums at 9 p.m. EST friday night for a fun filled SS with Mel of A+ Designs! Not only do you get one fantastic page done you get a prize also for completing a LO and getting it uploaded before times up! The first hour she gives you instructions every 10 mins or so, then you get another hour to finish up and get it loaded..but most of the time they are pretty flexible about that last hour. New stuff to show off!!

Hey everyone! I got a lot of stuff to show off today. First off lets start with Dani Moy Designs new kit that came out this week called Dot Dot Dot, and for right now it is on sale for only $3.

Here is my LO with it. I went to a Speed Scrap Lift at SDD the other night..it was fun and laid back, but I think I prefer the regular Speed Scraps. There is just something about the adrenaline rush you get having a set time limit to do a LO in once you get the last instruction. Anyway, I also used some Word Art by Jazzy called Friendship Wordart and for right now her whole shop is 20% off till the end of the month. This is a friend of mine that lives in Liverpool UK. Isn't he a cutie!

Ooh and check this one out. I answered a One Kit Call over at DST that Helly was doing for her new kit Fell From Heaven and I got it!! I was sooo excited..she is another designer that I just LOVE her stuff! She really creates some beautiful kits! Also, if you go to her blog you can get the alpha for this kit as a freebie, isn't that awesome!

Here is one of the pages I did with this beautiful kit. That is my baby and I right after we came home from the hospital. She is about a week old here, yeah we were there a few extra days cause of having a c-section. She was turned sideways and didn't want to come out, but in the end she came out and everything was ok. Isn't she precious! I miss my little girl. She is 11 now and growing up so fast!!

Ok, last but not least...my good friend Jazzy is looking for some new girls to join her team! Girls this is one great lady to CT for! She has some fantastic Word Arts and I have been a big fan of hers since I found digi scrapping! So come on send her a email and join us! She just sent us some new stuff that just came out in her shop at DSO and that reminds me I need to get some LO's done and posted! Mmm guess I need to add that to my list of things to start tonight..lol.

I'll be back soon to show off what I'm working on tonight. I'm trying to be good and get caught up and my girl Erin IM'ed me tonight to show me her new kit and OMG I just have to say it is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!! So elegant and romantic!! So of course I had to run and download it, lol, I've already opened and organized it and as soon as I'm done with the 2 pages I'm working on right now that one is next on my list. Hopefully that will be released by this weekend. If not then at the beginning of next week. I'll be here to show that off as soon as its out!!

Oh, before I forget while I'm talking about Erin, I got the preview of Jenn's Watercolor Garden. It is on sale too this week for $2. Isn't it lovely! This is the fifth in her series of CT inspired kits. Yep, thats right, she asked us to come up with a color pallet and a theme and then she went from there. I'm telling you she really hit home with our kits! I just love her!! Thank you Erin!!

Before I show Erin's newest kit yet to be released but coming soon, I just have to share this. I have been so fortunate to get on some awesome CT's! I love the 3 teams I'm on and the designers are just fabulous women and my team mates are the greatest too! The digi scrappin world is such a wonderful place to meet new friends and learn so much! It has saved my sanity so much the past few months and it is my great escape! ;)

Now on to why I am here tonight! This is Scrappyweiss Designs new kit that will be released any day now..she is on vacation so as soon as she gets back and settled it will be out! It is called Jenn's Watercolor Garden which you will be able to find soon at ESS in Erin's store! I don't have a preview for it yet but I do have one of the LO's I've made with it! I also used a template from A+ Designs called Templistic: Mix It Up and the word art is from Toof Fairy, my other team I'm on, Words to Delite by Jazzy, and this is her store at DSO.

I'm not the greatest journalist so I really love word art! Jazzy has really saved me with some of her awesome stuff since I've been scrapping, and for this month she is the featured designer at DSO and her stuff is all on sale! I do love a good sale!!
